My husband has the camera for a few days. . .
Here's "Freelance Chicken" that I found searching for Odd Todd videos a while back (Though he does have an Odd Todd-themed video up, this isn't it.).

My husband has the camera for a few days.
I went to a funeral today for someone who I didn't know well but he was always really nice to me (sudden and unexpected heart attack). I will miss him very much. I feel like I saw him just the other day. I wish I would have talked to him just a little bit longer. There was so much I didn't know about him, about his life. I guess that's always how it is when someone dies --that the segment of time in their lives that we knew them is one slice of the pie in the whole person. He was kind. I didn't realize until today that I always felt safe talking to him. The head priest (there were six at the service, which apparently never happens. . . and the full choir. He had played the church organ as his profession, which I never knew. He played piano too. He'd play for friends a lot.) said he had considered him to be a close friend.

My husband has the camera for a few days.
I couldn't tear myself away from this video today --like an entranced cat or something. I want a shot of that hair flip with the light behind me like she does.
What did she just say? Janet say, "Yeah. I said it."

My husband has the camera a few days.
I went to a lot of local Green Day shows before they hit it big (This isn't saying much, because they apparently played everywhere and anywhere that they could.). The lead singer B.J. is pretty twitchy when he sings live which they never seem to ahem, catch on camera nowadays.
This shows it a little.
My Generation of Music:

I still think of them as just some guys I knew (though I'm happy for them). I see no icons of music --but they were good and everybody else just got to find out too.
Then I saw this one day. It's totally Green Day: the crowd, the twitchy and (fakingly) bug-eyed lead singer, the black hair. Surreal. But in completely copying Green Day (whether intentional or not), it's its own thing altogether. I have to say --I'm actually impressed. Also, it's the first time I've ever seen first-hand that the music torch has truly been passed to the next generation. I'm surprised that I really don't mind it much. But also, what's replacing it is really a step beyond and it's always easier for me to let go of what is for something even better. . .

P.S. I hope this all makes sense. It's really early.

These are me.
I took pictures of the framed photos on the walls when I was home (i.e. at my parents' house) over Christmas. I think the middle might be my sister (My mom laughed and said no when I showed her.).I remember my dad taking the two end pictures. I had a very clear sense of myself (especially in the far right picture. My favorite color was red.) and was a bit surprised to see I was so young . I didn't like my picture taken even then :)

P.S. I had some photos of license plates I thought were funny but didn't feel right about posting them in the first place and then decided for sure it didn't feel right and took them down.

I'm playing this on a loop as I write this:

My complaintfreeworld.org bracelets came today (They send two to an order.). Here goes 21 days of no complaining (If you miss, you move the bracelet to the other wrist and start again.). What I've done already (or not done) has changed my experience of my life in a really rich way. I really wanna make it happen.
Here's another Dylan that's grown on me:

Today was fun.
B. I squealed in glee at the crate of chocolate on the kitchen counter when I came down for breakfast. . . And didn't eat at all all day and came home and had like five chocolates one after the other which turned out to be not such a good idea. . .
I of course have homework but just discovered Allison's third book came out and I can't not read it straight through before doing anything else.
A.
I still can only watch parts of Family Guy --but what a show.

With flash

P.S. Today I realized that for the last six months or so I've thought of myself and have told people that I'm 32! But I'm not --I'm 33! That means I'm not going to be 33 at my next birthday like I've been thinking (and thus, with plenty of time to get my life together careerwise). Instead, I'm going to be 34!!! I remember this same situation happened on an oddtodd What's Happening at one point. . .
P.S.S. This week I also figured out that for however long I've been taking two or three thousand per cent more B vitamins daily than I should. I knew something was off there and it's a huge relief to finally know which frickin' vitamin it was. . .

I saw this on my friend's desk and was almost too embarassed to ask if I could take a picture of it, "I have this blog and I take a picture everyday. . . "
She likes to make things with beads (really amazing bracelets and things).
She talked about this like she just threw together some beads and craft glue one day. . . But I'm kinda impressed. . .

Nickel Creek, "This Side"
For some reason, this reminds me of my brother and his fiance.
This book is my hero.
Googling I over-diagnose myself and never seem to find an easy solution (like in this book). Plus, these are home remedies from M.D.s and their tips really work (I haven't gotten much solid help from homeopathic home remedy books.).
I haven't been feeling well. Tonight I finally looked in this and did what it said and literally within two minutes I feel better. Priceless.

It's stormy. My husband this morning heard a travel advisory unlike any he's heard his whole life, "If you travel in the mountains today (where we don't live) you might die."

I've been looking at the clock a lot at just the moment that it says weird times like, "2:22" or "12:51" or "11:11." It happens so much I don't think much of it anymore. I've been trying to get a picture of 11:11 but haven't been able. Tonight I run and get my camera. . . My husband in the background watching t.v. without my explaining to him what I'm doing teases, "You're a freak." I'm standing ready right in front of the clock with my camera open in my hand when it turns.
