Our road got re-paved this week! It's beautiful. For three days we had to park a block away and walk! I found this to be really fun and adventuresome. I'm not sure why. I'm probably the only one. That's okay. They never did that kindof stuff in the Midwest where I grew up --it snowed too much for it to do any good. The roads would just crack up in the cold.The book is Falling Awake by an old junior high friend's dad. It changes my life every time I do it. I expect wonderful things to start to happen soon. Stay tuned. . .
P.S. After I took the first picture, a family of deer walked down the street at me, then around the corner and up the hill! I tried to take a picture but it didn't turn out. They are so peaceful and quiet.
